1. Performance and Use

This product is a solid pure methyl silicone resin with very high silica content. It has excellent heat resistance and little smoke. It has high reactivity, strong adhesion, high hardness and good scratch- resistance.

3. Recommended applications

1. Solid methyl silicone resin intermediate  is widely used for insulation bonding of laminates.
2. Solid methyl silicone resin intermediate  is widely used in resistive insulating coatings to provide excellent temperature resistance, at the same time, it gives excellent stability (no smoke, no cracking) and scratch resistance.

4. Packaging, Storage and Transportation

1. The packing form is usually 50kg, 25kg plastic lined paper bucket.
2. Storage conditions are recommended to be stored in a cool and dry environment at 5-36 C. The corresponding shelf life is generally 12 months from the date of production.

5. Construction Reference

1. If the coating or binder is prepared by solvent method, toluene or xylene should be selected as the best solvent to dissolve the resin sufficiently and then prepare the paint. The dissolution process can be moderately heated (<60 C). It is necessary to use 200 meshes before use.
The filter cloth is filtered and the clarity of the filtrate is observed.
2. If powder coatings are used to prepare resistance insulating coatings, it is necessary to ensure the full mixing and wrapping of resin and pigments and fillers.
